Florida Race Place/Thunderbolt Promotions has been producing the Madeira Beach Triathlon for the last 6 years of the 33 year history. We want to thank our athletes and sponsors for the long history of support of the event. After much consideration and deliberation concerning the bike course on the Pinellas county roads and cost of closures and athlete safety, we have decided to discontinue the bike portion of the event. We will be producing the Madeira Beach Open Water Weekend. We look forward to working with Madeira Beach Recreation Dept. for a great weekend of swimming and running at Archibald park. If you have registered for the Madeira Beach Triathlon, we will transfer your entry or issue a refund. Please check www.racehawk.com for updates on the Open Water Weekend.
